Saturday's Critters # 209

Welcome to Saturday's Critters!

If you love critters like I do and also like to blog about them and take critter photos this is where you can share your critter post. Link up your post and share your critters, join in with my critter party ! You can share any kind of critters the real ones, pretend ones, statues and paintings, a new or old post!

I am sharing various birds, like the  Brown Pelican, Great Egrets, Snowy Egret and a Great Blue Heron seen during our Sunset Beach visit back in November. These were all seen in a little park called Sunset Beach Park, it had a little trail and some fishing piers we could walk out on.

Brown Pelican resting on a dock. Snooze time, it was a chilly morning too.

A Snowy Egret on the hunt for food.

Three's a crowd, Great Egrets.

The Great Egrets and a Great Blue Heron.

I always enjoy seeing the egrets and herons.

I hope you enjoyed my post and photos.

I appreciate and thank everyone who links up their post and thanks in advance for all the wonderful comments!

Here is a list of my linky parties;

  6. Loved to see the Brown Pelican. It does look a bit chilly.

    Seeing the egrets in a distance is a little like seeing the swans. The difference is the lenght of the necks and the swans are heavier :)

    I was at the lake yesterday in bad weather. There are still lots of greylag geese and swans on the lake. But too far out where there are still open water.

    Strange about the geeze. They should not be here now. They should be in the south and come back in march. If this continoue they will be here att year round. I just don´t know where they feed :(

  18. Hello Eileen. And thank you so much for hosting this link-up again. Oh that Pelican! Such a fabulous bird but one that I can see only if I visit the zoo or travel a long distance east or west. Guess I'll have to wait a while. At least I can see some egrets.

  20. Love seeing all these bird critters. We have seen four deer crossing through our yard. We have seen evidence of them at our bird feeders, but haven’t seen them there. I haven’t been able to get a decent picture of the deer because it is getting dark or dark, when we see them.
